    Dear creators of the theme,

    First of all thank you for the lovely theme. I’ve got two questions:
    1. Is it possible to make a blog post with a featured image and to remove the feature image from the front page blog post?
    2. Is it possible to scale down the size of the featured image?

    Once again thank you and all the best!

    Dear YourFlow,

    1. I see you’re using the 2-column layout on yourflow.eu. Here is a way to have featured images on post pages and not to have them on archive pages (e.g. the blog feed front page) in this particular layout:
    in the theme folder (mauer-storyteller) find the file called content-grid_2_cols.php and delete the following blocks of code from it:

    <a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" class="entry-thumb-link">
    	<div class="entry-thumb-wrapper">
    		<?php the_post_thumbnail('mauer_cover_thumb'); ?>
    		<div class="entry-thumb-overlay"></div>
    	</div>
    </a>

    located around line 20 of the file

    and

    <a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" class="entry-thumb-link">
    	<?php the_post_thumbnail('mauer_thumb_1'); ?>
    	<div class="entry-thumb-overlay"></div>
    </a>

    located around line 20 of the file

    2. I guess you are talking about the size of the featured image on a single post page. To scale it down you can add the following code to the end of the style.css file located in theme folder:

    .entry-full .entry-thumb {
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 80%;
    height: 40.5rem
    }

    Just experiment with the width and height numbers. However don’t forget to check the mobile view to make sure you did not make the image too small.

    Please note:
    It’s best to do these modifications in a child theme, so that they don’t get overwritten during a theme update.
    The modifications you wrote about are outside of Envato’s support policy. If you want them to be done professionally, Envato has a service for that called Envato Studio. Here I just offered you a simplified solution that you can apply by yourself with no coding background.

    Thank you.
