    I tried changing the background color of the whole website going on the css editor and changing the

    body {
    background-color: #fefefe; (CHANGED THIS ONE)
    font-family: ‘Libre Franklin’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    font-size: 1.6rem;
    line-height: 1.8;
    color: #343434;

    but nothing changed.

    How can I change the background color? which is currently full white.

    Thank you

    Hi Giulio,

    There seems to be an error in the code you’ve posted (unclosed bracket). Also, depending on how you’re adding the code, it may get overridden (and thus ignored).

    So here is the way to do it that surely works:

    In your Admin Panel go to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Edit CSS’.

    Paste the following code in the field. Feel free to change #f2f5f7 to the color of your choice.

    body, .mauer-preloader {
      background-color: #f2f5f7;

    Click ‘Publish’.

    Kind regards,
