Do blog posts automatically get pulled into the blog page? I have written just one blog post and I do not see it in the blog masonry page. Do I have to make several posts before the blog page shows them?
If this is a stupid question, I do apologise. Thank you!
This actually lies within standard WordPress logics, which is: the blog posts are listed on the page that is set to show them in Settings/Reading.
Basically, if you want your front page to display your latest posts (as in the theme demo), just make sure you have ‘Your latest posts’ selected (see screenshot below). And if you want a particular page to show the blog posts (saving the front page for a static page), please first create that page and then select it under ‘A static page…’
Overall, I would suggest you follow the steps in the User Guide* to setup the theme. That would make figuring out things of that sort much easier.
* — In case you don’t know where to find the User Guide:
Go to https://themeforest.net/downloads. Find the theme and click ‘Download’ > ‘All files & documentation’. Download and unpack the zip file. The User Guide will be in the ‘Documentation’ folder.
