    Hello Paul,
    I’d like to get your J. Storyteller theme. But there’s still one thing I’d like to know:
    Is it possible to use footnotes in the text for scientific use?
    Thank you very much!

    Hello Wahnfried,

    You can use a footnote-generating plugin with almost any theme (including Storyteller). Here is an example of such plugin. It’s available for free from the WP plugins repository — https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-footnotes/

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

    thank you very much for your support! I got your storyteller-theme a few weeks ago and I’m very happy with it. There are just three things that bother me:

    1. Under the “more posts” area, that appears below a post, easy-footnotes shows the footnotes of that post above again – partially multiple. Can you give me advice in that case or is it a pure plugin problem?

    2. How can I enlarge the font size of the subtitle by 2 pt?

    3. How do I participate in theme updates?

    Many thanks for your effort!

    Hi Wahnfried,

    Sorry for late reply to this one.

    1. Can you please post a link to your website so I could take a look at the issue?

    2. I can provide a small CSS code (and instructions on how to add it) for that. However, first please make it clearer what you actually mean by a subtitle: site description, the date under the title, smth else?

    3. ThemeForest sends an email when a theme gets an update. Then you can download the newest version and install it in place of the previous one.

    Regards,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,

    no problem!

    1. Here’s Link. You can see, below the “more posts” the six footnotes appear again twice.

    2. With “subtitle” I mean the text at that position, where your theme preview shows “The adventures of”. It’s the one on the top of the homepage, on my page it’s called “Prometheisches Programm”. This text I’d like to enlarge a little bit.

    Thank you very much again!

    Hi Wahnfried,

    Please add the following CSS code to the website. The first line will hide the footnotes from the ‘more posts’ section. And the second line will increase site description font by 2 pixels. You can experiment with the font size changing the value yourself ( 0.1rem = 1px).

    .post-card .easy-footnotes-wrapper {display: none;}
    .site-desc {font-size: 1.6rem;}

    You can add custom CSS with the Simple Custom CSS plugin. Once you install and activate it, in your Admin Panel please go to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Custom CSS’. There insert the code you see above and save.

    If you enjoy the theme, I kindly ask you to rate it on ThemeForest. This literally takes a moment, however, creates a big difference.

    Kind Regards,
    Paul
