    If my post contain a H2, how can appear nicely as a subheader also in the posts column on the main page instead of being put all together with the text of the post under the thumbnail picture.

    also how do I justify align the text in my posts?

    Hello Giulioap,

    WordPress bypasses formatting in excerpts. That’s why your h2 is merged with text. However, if you manually specify the preview text with the “read more” button in the editor, your h2 will be shown in preview as an h2. See screenshot:

    As for using justified alignment, I would not recommend that. In fact, WordPress has removed the button for that since version 4.7. However, if you still want that, you may use the following CSS code (see instructions on how to insert it further):

    .entry-content p, .entry-excerpt p {text-align: justify;}

    You can add this code with the Simple Custom CSS plugin. Once you install and activate it, in your Admin Panel please go to Appearance’ > ‘Custom CSS’.
    There insert the code you see above and save.
