    Hi there,
    I have recently bought the essentialist theme and tried to reduce the size of the feature image size. I tried changing the parameter in line 103 in Style.css but it does not seem to take an effect. Could you suggest?

    Hello Mypijika,

    To alter the width please do the following:

    In your Admin Panel go to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Edit CSS’.

    Paste the following code in the field. Feel free to change 85% to the values of your choice.

    /* 'big latest' featured image width on blog page */
    .post-card.big .entry-thumb-wrapper {
    	width: 85%;
    	margin: 0 auto;
    }

    /* featured image width on single page */
    .entry-full .entry-thumb {
    	width: 85%;
    	margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Click ‘Publish’.

    It’s better to not alter the files of the theme directly. Because this way the changes will be lost when you update the theme. The way that I’ve laid out above is update-proof.

    BTW, there has recently been an Essentialist update that introduced WordPress 5 and Gutenberg support. I invite you to update the theme. When you do that, please make sure to also update the bundled plugins and install the ‘Mauer Essentialist Gallery’ plugin (also bundled with the theme).

    Kind regards,
    Paul
