    Hi Paul,

    I am trying to find out where the project width is defined in the CSS or functions.php

    When I post images in my portfolio projects they seem to be fixed to a certain width. The same width the text container has.
    Even if I define FULL SIZE as option for the images, they never show in Full.

    Where do I define the content container min width? See what I mean here

    I also tried to post groups of images in galleries. But when I do that, all images are posted in a project as a row without margins. Is there something I do wrong?

    Hi Oliver,

    Project width is basically defined by Bootstrap classes in the templates markup. I would suggest there’s no real need to go that deep to achieve what you need. Let me explain.

    When you insert images, they are forced to fit the content column. This is done purposely — so that they don’t break the layout.

    What I would suggest, is that you insert images in galleries. And if I understand right, you implemented the customization that I provided here. So the only point of concern now is the padding between images inserted as a gallery.

    You can increase the padding with the following CSS code. Feel free to change 6.2 to a value of your liking.

    .mauer-pswp-gallery-img-1-of-1 {padding-bottom: 6.2rem;}
    .mauer-pswp-gallery-img-1-of-1:last-child {padding-bottom: 0;}

    You can insert custom CSS with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/. Once you install and activate it, in your Admin Panel please go to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Custom CSS’, paste the code and save.

    Regards,

    Dear Paul,

    thank you for helping me with the template so far.

    I have another question. You already mentioned that the content column is defined in bootstrap classes.
    I find the content(text) column a little too narrow for most of my projects, especially in a browser window.

    Would you be able to tell me how I can adjust the general content width via template, or even better, if there is a way to assign individual content width to certain posts/projects via css or other methods?

    Thanks so much in advance.

    Best

    Dear Oliver,

    Please go to the content-project_content.php file in the theme folder.

    Around line 42 find the following line:

    <div class="col-xs-12 col-sm-10 col-sm-offset-1 col-lg-8 col-lg-offset-2">

    Replace it with this:

    <div class="col-xs-12 col-sm-10 col-sm-offset-1">

    So that the result looks like so:

    Save the file.

    Regards,
    Paul
