    Hello Paul

Thank you for getting back to me earlier, I have 3 more questions please? I can not use Jetpack as my host has blocked it due to security and so I am trying alternate way to have some of the Jetpack features work on my site:

1- Can I replace the Instagram Widget with maybe a feed from Flickr?

2- Can I add the social media icons on the top left of the template without using Jetpack (can’t use it anyway)

3- I want to change the links at the bottom of the blog page from Older Posts to More Posts, I’d be greatful if you could let me know where I can edit the text.

Sorry I know these questions have probably been answered somewhere but I can not find them, again thank you in anticipation.

    Hello again Paul

Sorry one more question, I didn’t notice that the theme doesn’t show the names of authors, is there a way to do this, I imagine it will be some PHP and CSS, any chance you might have already answered this for someone else? thanks

    Hello Abdultheme,

    1. Actually, the Instagram feed that you can see at the bottom of the theme (this one) does not require the Jetpack plugin to function.

    2. Yes, these icons also do not rely on Jetpack, so you can add them without installing Jetpack. However the icons at the end of posts do rely on Jetpack, so you won’t be able to use these without Jetpack.

    3. You can change this text by going to the functions.php file in the theme folder, finding these two lines and changing them. Please see this screenshot.

A little disclaimer: It’s best to do such customizations in a child theme or a custom plugin, so they do not get overwritten during theme updates. However, of course, you can always re-introduce them after a theme update.

    Regards,
    Paul
