    Hello,
I’m very interested to buy this theme for one of my clients, but I would like to know before if it’s possible :
    – to create a new page (for example, we need to have 2 types of simple page more : Expositions and publications) ?
    – to separate “About” and “contact” ?
    – to change easily the name of the items (Portfolio > œuvres, About > Biographie) ?
    And,
if is there a compatibility with the last version of WP (4.8) ?

Thanks for your answers an sorry for ma “frenchy” english.

    Hello Deida,

Actually most of your questions are specific to how WordPress works, rather than to this actual theme. Let me humbly warn you that if you’re not familiar with content management using WP, you may have a hard time setting your client’s website up. So maybe it makes sense to delegate that part of the work to a WP expert.

    That being said,

You can create any number of new pages, as well as portfolio projects, and galleries. The theme does not restrict that in any way. When creating pages, you will be able to use a template that looks like this (page title underneath the cover picture) or like this (page title on the cover picture).

Sure, you can create different pages for Contact and About, and add the contact form to the Contact page.

You can easily change page titles and menu titles (like ‘Portfolio’ > ‘œuvres’, ‘About’ > ‘Biographie’). You can also translate the static texts used in the theme in the regular WP fashion — for example using the Loco Translate plugin.

Bild is compatible with WP 4.8, as well as PHP 7.

Your frenchy English and my pigeon English seem to work together pretty smoothly : )

    Regards,
    Paul

    Hello Paul,

thanks for answer. I really appreciate 😉

So, it seems that I can “throw me in the water” (french expression) and get the result I expect…
The only bad point results on my knowledge of WP. I’ve got a short formation in WP, html5 and CSS3, and I had some little opportunities to use WP.
I hope it will be enough to realise this project !?

In case of problems, I can count on the Wp community, as well as on your professionalism and your help.

By then I still have a little time before starting the job (until the end of july).

    Best regards,
    Deida

    Deida,

If you don’t plan to make any modifications to the theme, I think you’ll be fine (if you won’t have a tight deadline). However, please consider this only my opinion and not a guarantee.

Basically I mean that if you don’t try to bring any new functionality and just make a site similar to the demo but with your own text and images, you should be fine if you just carefully follow the user guide that comes with the theme. And if you analyze the demo content (that you’ll be able to import) and see how it’s structured.

That being said, I want to make it clear that installation and customization services are not included with a theme purchase according to ThemeForest rules.

    Regards,
    Paul

    Hello Paul,

    thanks again.
Except creating pages as I explain in ma first post, I will use the functionalities of the theme (which meets my expectations).

Of course, I perfectly understand that installation and customization services are not included. I will ask for help only in the legacy way.

    Best regards,
    Deida
