    Hi,

    I added external plugin Envira gallery and now portfolio images does not appear as they should.

    I got this message “Jetpack’s Carousel has been disabled, because another plugin or your theme is overriding the [gallery] shortcode” and the image sizes are not right.

    What to do? :O

    the website is http://www.patrickraivio.fi

    Hello Patukka,

    Yes, the Bild theme is overriding the native [gallery] shortcode of WordPress to introduce its gallery layout. You can prevent this by going to the functions.php file in your theme folder, finding the line add_filter('post_gallery', 'mauer_gallery_func', 10, 2); (should be around line 529) and changing it to // add_filter('post_gallery', 'mauer_gallery_func', 10, 2);

    Regards,
    Paul

    Hi,

    Could I just download the Mauer Bild theme or plugin again to fix my site?

    I deactivated Envira Gallery but it didn’t help.

    Thank you for support!

    Hello Patrick,

    I think it was a smart move switching back to the theme-provided galleries. Imho, they do a better work of presenting your images than Envira.

    Cheers,
    Paul
